After a delightful two and a half months, the Dogs on the Bluff art display has closed and these charming dogs, pups and fire hydrants are moving to their permanent homes. The 125 Committee thanks everyone who participated in making this event and the auction a success: artists, sponsors, the thousands who enjoyed the display, and those who bid on auction items. The dog auction was a huge success and the 125 committee and Lake Bluff History Museum appreciate the support received through this fundraising effort.
We are sad to see the dogs go and will leave the gallery up so everyone can continue to enjoy these imaginative creations.
Created to celebrate Lake Bluff’s 125th anniversary, the colorful dogs were created by sponsored artists and by local organizations and families who chose to be part of the fun. Thanks to Greg’s Auto Body, each one sports a glossy coat that really makes it shine!
