Lake Bluff 125th Anniversary Commemorative Brick Walkway – October 2020
The walkway, part of the original 2007 Village Beautification Plan, is a gift from the Lake Bluff 125 Anniversary Committee to the Village and will be installed in October 2020. Thank you to everyone who purchased an engraved brick, and also to our sponsors Northwestern Medicine, Pasquesi Home & Gardens, Mariani Landscaping and Krugel Cobbles.
Lake Bluff Walking Tours
Download the Lake Bluff Walking Tours App from the Apple App store or Google Play and start walking! The app launched May 15 with two tours: Uptown and Camp Meeting Grounds. Additional tours will be added in summer 2020 and in 2021.
Unleashed! Dogs on the Bluff – July-September 2020
Colorful and imaginative dogs created by artists, community groups and individuals will be displayed in Lake Bluff from mid-July through September. Over 70 delightful canines take to the streets of Lake Bluff starting in mid-July as part of the Dogs on the Bluff public art display. The Dogs on the Bluff committee will sell a number of the dogs when the public display concludes, with proceeds to benefit Lake Bluff History Museum.
125 Anniversary Commemorative Quilt – September 1-10
This beautiful quilt was made by the Village Quilters of Lake Bluff/Lake Forest to commemorate Lake Bluff’s 125th anniversary. It will be displayed in the former Marshall Fields/Macy building on the west side of Market Square, in Lake Forest, from September 1-10 as part of the Art Stroll. Drop by anytime to view the quilt, and visit September 4 between 3 and 7 p.m. to talk to a couple of the quilters who created this lovely piece.
